Cindy approached the zoo sign slowly. She thought she heard that there was a rescue team within. She knew it was a decision that could turn deadly but she decided to enter. Although she needed to find something to protect herself in case of… well the worst case scenario. She entered a zoo themed restaurant on the way. Of course there was one of those things in here. She managed to slide past it and its slow moving ways. She reached the back of the restaurant with the zombie slowly shuffling toward her. It was getting closer so she decided to enter the maintenance room in the back. She quickly closed the door behind her blocking the zombie's way. If worst came to worst she could burst out of the door knocking the zombie to the ground. Good thing they couldn't open doors or she'd be dead already. After searching she was surprised to have found a gun and a few boxes of ammo. She quickly opened the door to find the zombie was not by the door but rather at the other side of the restaurant where she had to escape. She always heard to shot zombies in the head. Luckily all the zombie movies she watched with her boyfriend came in handy. She stopped a second to think of Steve and how he must be doing now. By then the realization of how big the outbreak was came to her. She may be the only one left. She shot the zombie in the head causing some goop to ooze out onto the floor. She quickly exited the restaurant and was on to the zoo. She also found a key within the maintenance office in which opened the gates to the zoo. As she walked through the gates things seemed quiet… too quiet. Certainly not anyone around. Where was the rescue crew and the other survivors? She heard a distant stomping sound. It got louder and louder until it shook the ground. Suddenly some kind of massive animal burst through the surrounding wall. She noticed whatever it was it was infected too. She looked closely and nearly screamed in terror. It was an elephant, but not just any elephant. This one was infected. For what seemed like forever all she could do was stare. Then something in her body told her to run… fast. She ran and didn't look back, although she heard the gigantic beast right on her tail. She fired blindly at the hulking mass but noticed the bullets did not affect it. She saw a door and prayed that it wasn't locked. Luckily she was able to open the door and slip through to the other side. She didn't think the wall would hold it and she didn't want to stay to find out. She saw a building but then heard something very familiar. It was the sound of a helicopter. Were there survivor after all? She started jumping and screaming but noticed that the helicopter was moving too fast. She watched in amazement as the helicopter got lost in the distance and she saw a big cloud of fire. At the same time she heard the elephant again and got her adrenaline back up and she ran for the building. She couldn't tell what kind of building in was on the inside. It had an office and there was a person! Some kind of security center perhaps. Cindy was so happy to see someone else that she didn't care about the elephant anymore. Before she could say anything a pack of zombies burst through the door quickly identifying the man as food. With no protection the man was defenseless. She only had a few shots left but there were so many of them and they quickly devoured the man. Cindy watched in horror. One of the zombies finally noticed she was there. She fired at it but out of nervousness and shock she didn't make any head shots. She had one bullet left for over five zombies. She suddenly heard the building shake, the elephant was back. She couldn't take it anymore. She put the gun up to her head and a shot was heard throughout the zoo. A few zombies in the distance looked up and then quickly went back to munching on there prey.
