So you were hiding from me.
All this time I lived without living.
And there you were.
Behind me all the way.
Hunting in the darkness.
Where I lived in it.
Hiding? Hunting?
Who kept you from me?
Spite or misery?
Wishing you the very best
As you sleep all alone
A hunter and a hunter
Come undone.
Staying with the Lancers
And I the Daybreakers
Living apart from the one I love
Come into my arms
So I can feel you once more
My Rashel
My fire
And so I hide
Hide from you?
What? Am I scared
No, terrified
What if you've changed
Since we've gone our separate ways?
The pain would be too great.
In the beginning it hurt
To be around
So I tried to make amends
And you did too
For the things we'd done
To each other's race
And now I've found the light
No, I'm not hiding from you
And you're not hiding from me
We're searching for each other
