Hey guys.. This is just a little poem I wrote in Dally's perspective about being misunderstood.. I'll try posting some of my other stories in the works since I'm out of school already.. well I hope you like it and review to let me know what you think.. I'm still trying to figure out how to upload this lol
Digging Deep Beneath The Surface
The cold front I put up is simply what appears.
Toughness around the edges and an ice-blazing gaze
Simply scares the enemy, leaving them in fear,
Bringing me pride and something to boast about nowadays.
A permanent hard as nails, cold as an iceberg mask
Can save yourself and others from being hurt.
Emotions show weakness, the deadliest weapon for any task.
The word choice is why I cover up my emotions and stay alert.
The bitterness turns into a poison, spreading everyplace.
Seeping through left emotions slower than alcohol.
Reality is that I have feelings under my flawed surface;
The real me isn't so heartless after all.
"It's better to be feared than loved."
That genius lived a life like mine, sort of.
