Summary: Episode "Resurrection", let's all imagine that Summerlee didn't barge in on Marguerite and Roxton's conversation on the balcony. Because I have to wait for the whole season to go around before I get to see "Trapped". This is a bit different from my usual style but it's what my fevered imaginiation created.
"You said always." Marguerite said in a hushed voice.
"Did you expect me to say something else?" Roxton countered, moving closer to brush a hand across her cheek.
"It's not what I usually hear." She responded with her usual sneer. Unconsciously, she tilted her face into the palm of his hand.
"I am not an ordinary man." John replied in a husky voice leaning his body towards hers.
"Indeed you aren't Lord Roxton." Marguerite whispered when his lips were only millimeters from hers. The forest sounds died away as Roxton closed the distance between them. Try as she might to separate herself from the kiss, Marguerite could only concentrate on the feel of his lips on hers, his strong hand cupping the back of her neck, the way her body fit against his. Roxton pulled back enough to look her full in the face, her face was flushed and eyes cloudy with emotion. A proud smile graced his face and Marguerite narrowed her eyes at him. Gently disentangling herself from him, Marguerite back away, just before she turned out of sight she said in a voice heavy with feeling, "It's a start." Her laughter carried back to Roxton and he threw his arms up exasperatedly. A secret part of him smiled though, enjoying the idea of being with the seductive heiress for always.
