The Shiz: I wrote this when I should have been working on Of a Wizard, a Dragon, and a Thief. I'll get around to that eventually, I promise. This was inspired by Azurite's 'Cliche.' It's so much better than this. You should go read that after you finish this. Really.

Everyone loved her.

Everyone hated him.

The very thought of them together contradicts everything about it, and the idea of them as lovers makes them the ultimate puzzle.

He was spiteful, rude, and hateful. He didn't smile, the thought of friendship made his stomach churn, and he loathed almost everything about her. She was nice, sweet, constantly among friends, and despised almost everything that made him who he was. And yet, they loved each other as much as possible, and were rarely found apart.

As much of a contradiction as they were, it was cute.

He was the CEO of a major gaming company. The only game she played was Dance Dance Revolution, and he really hated that game. She was a professional dancer; he couldn't do the two-step to save his life. He had solved Einstein's Field Questions at age four (1).She had barely passed her final year of high school math.

He constantly was trying to make things perfect. She completely loathed perfection. His work was impeccable - she cut corners. They drove each other insane, they were so opposite. At the same time, they completed each other. Her faults were his advantages, and his faults were advantages.

A perfect contradiction.

(1) - Einstein's Field Questions is a set of ten questions that was used to explain his Theory of Relativity. If you can solve these questions, you can find the strength of a gravitional field at any location in space-time.
