Notes: I've just finished RMZ4, and I'm very depressed of the ending. So if Zero really is DEAD. This fic is possible.XD I'm an X-lover, so I'm really pissed since X didn't appear. (one-shot) (It's Dr. Vile, not Weil, BTW)

How many years have they been fighting...?
Could it be over...?
He sat down exhausted on top of the remains of what he's stepping on, the roof of the slowly falling Ragnarok Satellite. Everything was getting torn apart as the Satellite near the Earth's atmosphere. It could only be a few more minutes before the whole place crash down to Earth.
The Earth looks too quiet from here...
"X... hopefully it'll stay peaceful a bit longer. Can I rest with you now...?"
Zero lies down as he feels his energy started to run out. His battle with the Doctor was fatal, he was left badly damaged...
"Just as you wanted... The Repliroid's and the humans are both left shaken, but..."
They're in peace with each other...
A familiar yellow light appeared above Zero.
"Maybe next time I wake up... If ever I wake up... I want to have my own body back and..."
Fight beside you again...?
The light changed into a blur image of X, "No, not fight anymore." the image whispers.
"Hah... Still such a pacifist you are." the red repliroid tries to reach for his blue repliroid. "Shouldn't you be resting now?" he looked at the blinking light curiously.
"I saved my last strength so I can talk to you for the last time..."
"Also... to take me to where you are resting..." Zero added.
X tries to hold the reaching hand of his friend, "Let's just get some sleep... I'm too tired to move..." Zero held X's hand.
X nods. "Yes, you've done enough. You deserve this rest."
Zero closes his eyes.
"Zero?"
"Hmm?"
The image of X started to fade. "Thank you..."
Zero just smiles, then he felt the floor heat up and his circuits start to shut down.
It's over at last...
