The Therapist

Ch. 1

"He'll be in any minute," Buffy says sitting in a therapist's office. "Come on, Spike."

Spike walks through the door with the Scooby Gang right behind him.

"Pet, can you take these bloody cuffs off my wrist," Spike says once he was next to her.

"If you promise not to run," Buffy says.

Spike looks at the door.

Xander is standing in the doorway holding up a cross.

Spike looks back at Buffy.

"Like I have a choice," Spike says.

Buffy takes the key out of her pocket and takes off the cuffs.

Buffy looks at Xander and says,"I can handle him from here."

"Ok. We'll be outside," Xander says.

Then they walk out of the room leaving Buffy and Spike alone.

"We'll use these later," Buffy says putting the cuffs in her pocket.

Spike takes a cigarette out of his pocket, lights it, and takes a puff.

"Why do I have to do this, luv?" Spike asks.

"Because you need help," Buffy says. "And when you sleep, you have nightmares."

"How do you know I have nightmare?" Spike asks.

"Because you whine in your sleep," Buffy says.

"I don't whine in my sleep," Spike says.

"We'll talk about this later," Buffy says. "Now you're are going to talk with him."

Spike looks at the therapist.

"How much is this costing you?" Spike asks.

"That doesn't matter. The only thing that matter is you," Buffy says brushing the side of Spike's face.

Spike looks back at Buffy.

"May we get started?" The therapist, Doctor Tom Shane says.

"Ok Doc," Spike says and kisses Buffy. "Let's do it."

Spike walks into the other room followed by Dr. Shane who closes the door behind him.

"Why don't you sit down, Spike?" Dr. Shane says.
