Dark Side of the Moon Series

Blood, Sweat & Tears

"The difference between a heat-of-the-moment killer and a psychopath is forethought"; Gil Grissom CSI

It only took a moment to change everything. One, tiny, insignificant moment that is going to alter the course of my entire family. A single decision made by one who should have known better. It left a scar. A scar that became a wound, that festered and grew. You see, hatred isn't something that is borne over night; no … it needs time, and fuel to become an all consuming passion.

They haven't seen me in almost three months. They had the nerve to leave me for dead. After all I've done for them. After all of the sacrifices I've made! It sounds cliché, but this it is true. You see I've had a lot of time to think about it … and they are going to pay.

With blood, sweat, and tears ….

I didn't want to listen to Donny when it happened. No one did. It was one o'th'scariest things we'd eva seen. Leo jus' stood there lookin' at us like it was now or neva, he told us t'get the Hell out. But we shouldn'ta left 'im there. Not with that sonuva bitch Bishop still sniffin' around. God knows what happened t'his damn corpse. 'Cept as it turned out the devil was playin' cruel tricks that day. Donny kept on sayin' that 240volts is enough t'kill a person, and wit' th'water an'the lecky sparkin' all over th' place who are we t'argue? When Leo cut out th'generator with his blade he just sorta went limp, fell down int'one of those puddles with sparks and gas flying everywhere.

Was th'last time we saw the guy till coupla nights ago. Things started out pretty strange Mikey was havin' these weird feelings running up and down his spine like so'eone or so'ethin' had been walkin' over his grave. Couldn't settle hi'self at all. I dunno what it was he was dreamin' o' but it got him all up an'in a twist. Turned out he'd stumbled cross so'ethin' that I wish he had jus'kept on ignorin'.

Things changed when Leo came back y'see. An'not in a good way. In fact not in a good way at all …
