This is something I wrote ages ago and I found and thought what the hell? So I posted it.
'I need him back when I was with him everything was good. What am I saying it was fantastic.' Lana wrote in her dairy. It was 3:00 in the morning and yet again she couldn't sleep. She was staring to think she had insomnia. It had started the week after she broke up with Clark. Everything started after that she thought as she sat in her bed staring at the wall and it was her fault. She'd accused him of…
"No don't think of that' she whispered a loud.
She suddenly had a thought 'I'll talk to him about it tomorrow' she said and fell into a half sleep.
She had always woken quite early but today by 6am she was up and cleaning. A bleary eyed Chloe came downstairs.
"Lana what are you doing?"
"Just Cleaning."
"Go back to bed it is too early to be awake."
"Can't sleep" said Lana in a small voice.
"Then go for a run or a ride or something and burn off some of your mad energy so I can sleep."
"Sorry Chloe"
"It's ok. Goodnight."
Chloe walked back upstairs and Lana decided to do as Chloe had said, she would walk to the Kent's and takes one of the horses out and perhaps run into Clark.
Clark was in the stables when he heard someone come in, he looked around and saw Lana. She was so beautiful but he knew that she had not come to talk to him seeing as she had only spoken to him when she had to. He kept mucking out pretending he hadn't noticed.
Lana looked around caught sight of flying hay and headed that way. She watched Clark then said,
"Hi Clark."
Clark was so surprised that he whirled round getting hay all over her.
"Hey!"
"I'm sorry." Clark dropped his fork and rushed over to her.
"It's ok at least it was just hay and I enjoy being sprayed with hay anyway." Picking bits of hay out of her hair.
Clark laughed and so did Lana. Clark put his hand out, when she looked down, to help her get the hay out but he never reached her head. She looked up at him and he saw many emotions flicker across her eyes and saw…regret. He was surprised. His hand was still out and he brought it slowly, tentatively towards her head.
Lana didn't see his hand she was looking in his eyes and saw the love and forgiveness there. When his hand touched her head she felt a weight lift off her and tears of relief and joy welled up in her eyes and then she began to cry.
"Lana?"
She closed her eyes, she felt the touch go. She felt like screaming and curling up into a ball and crying.
The touch returned. Clark was holding her face gently, wiping away the tears and then kissing them gently away. She opened her eyes and he saw the happiness in them.
"I love you" came in a whisper from Lana, barely audible but Clark heard on loudspeakers.
"I love you too, more than anything."
He kisses her softly then again. When they break apart Lana was so happy that she just hugged Clark not finding words and Clark hugged her back just as tightly kissing her head.
"I will never let you go again" and he picked her up.
As his forgiveness wash over her she laid her head on his chest as he walked up the stairs to Clark's loft. She closed her eyes, she was complete. Clark smiled at her then kissed her again and at last she fell into real sleep.
ENDHope you like
