Disclaimers: I do not own Witch Hunter Robin.
Summary: Um…Michael's point of view, about Robin. If you're not comfy with the pairing, please click back?
He'd sometimes wish reality was actually a dream. Then reality could be…whatever he wanted. Shaping his version of reality could be as simple as cracking some pathetic codes.
And the reality that he wanted was to see her once again. And that wasn't simple at all.
…
Michael never saw Robin again after the incident. Often he wishes he had time to say goodbye.
Others have said they were dead, but he still believes. It's one thing that he feels sure about.
He keeps himself busy in the office, like times before. He's still the person he was before, still tapping at the keys with deafening music pumping in his ears.
When he gets the chance to stop; rest his fingers, think, he sometimes feels angry, irritated with himself that he couldn't be her other man. The one near Robin.
He knows though, that parts he is weak, Amon is strong. The things he can't, Amon can.
So consequently, after the heat passes, Michael is glad that Amon is with her, because Amon will keep her safe. Moreover, alive, and this is very reassuring.
Michael feels awkward going outside; even the warm sun on his face is somehow uneasy to him. Furthermore, he is annoyed that his head turns at every skinny girl with hay-coloured hair.
He sleeps in the office. He tells others that he's gotten used to it. His hopes keep him in the enormous building at night. Different now, because it's by his will. He likes to reminisce about nights before, when Robin would come up to the office, holding a box of doughnuts every time. Every time, it felt as if she was slowly rusting away the cold metal chains that bound him to the office; his prison. He's free now.
He sleeps in the office—so that he doesn't somehow miss the possibility of seeing her. Of course, considering the actual probability of Robin being able to come, the situation is definitively frail.
But he remains hopeful that he'll get to see the pretty girl again. Robin. Just once would be good enough.
And if he did get to see her, he would be a very happy man. Then waiting would be worth it.
And waiting always paid off. Right?
AN/ I realize now this one-shot has no point. Bleh. I feel my writing is getting too methodical or something like it. Perhaps I should only stick to AR pairings.XD ThankYou for all the reviews on the other oneshot.
