Summary: He was never the type to do what he did, but when he realizes that she spent less of her time on him, he decided to spend more of his on her.
Pairings: Sasuke/Sakura
Disclaimer: I don't own Naruto, at all. All the characters belong to Kishimoto Masashi-sensei.
As Time Passes
A Stalking Kind of Love
Clearly, no one knew that she was taken, not even Sakura herself. Okay, maybe one person did but that person never made it a point to tell her. Of course, the way he acted around her was enough to say who had claimed her for his own but everyone was oblivious to that fact. Even if she knew someone liked her, he was the last person she'd think of. He never showed his emotions and the only reason he was doing so now, no matter how subtle his presence in it was, was because he sort of missed the attention she used to shower upon him daily.
Kakashi and Naruto noticed Sakura's strange behavior over the past few days. Whenever they were about to train, Sakura would always look behind her before starting. Even while training, she was easily surprised. Or she just wasn't concentrating enough. The two opted for the former reason.
"Sakura, is there anything wrong?" asked Kakashi, concentrating his right eye on her. Naruto looked at Sakura inquisitively while Sasuke looked at her passively. The pink-haired kunoichi shook her head as she twiddled her fingers, something Hinata usually did. Kakashi raised his eyebrow doubtfully. "No, really Sakura. There's something wrong. I can tell."
"I could be insane but I feel like someone's stalking me. Not the kind when your stalker is a maniac or anything but it's kind of creepy," said Sakura hastily, paranoia painting her jade orbs.
"Sakura-chan has a stalker! Let me at him!" shouted Naruto, Kakashi having to grab the collar of his jacket to subdue him.
"Leave it alone, Naruto. It could be just me anyway."
Hours later, their training ended. Sakura had at least paid attention a bit more, when she let out her apprehension. Before they went their separate ways, Kakashi double-checked if she was alright and Naruto offered to hunt down her Stalker. Sakura, however, said no to Naruto's offer.
"Sasuke-kun, you were kind of quiet today. I mean, more than usual," said Sakura as she looked at the solitary Uchiha heir. Sasuke shrugged as he looked away, avoiding Sakura's gaze.
"Sakura, you were talking about a stalker right?" he asked, trying to push down the red on his face.
"A kind of stalker," corrected Sakura as a faint smile appeared on her face, "I get a warm feeling inside me, despite the paranoia I feel. Why do you ask?"
"Well, I know who your kind of stalker is," he said as he faced her.
"Really? Who is it?" Sakura's tone was curious.
"Me." And then the world she thought was real faded from existence.

I know Sasuke will never be the type to do this but I was amused with this topic. And anyway, I believe there will come a day that Sakura will stop showering him with her overt affection. Of course she'll still love him but she won't douse him with all those displays any longer.
So, I go, how will Sasuke react. One word came into my head, stalk. It's cute, despite the fact that it'll probably never happen.
Forgive me for experimenting.
Happy Valentines by the way!
In any case, these stories aren't going to be long, since they're the type devoid of any major storyline. If these one-shots inspire you to write any more, by all means go ahead.
