Housebreaking

Raffles knows this route intimately. Up through the abandoned building no one's bothered to condemn, over the roofs, across the two close balconies, over the cornice, in through the window, which is far easier to jimmy open than it should be. Then carefully through the parlor, avoiding the creaking floorboard, to the unlocked bedroom.

He sits down on the bed and leans over Bunny's sleeping form, pressing a kiss to his temple, his cheek, the corner of his jaw…

Bunny mumbles and wakes up in that oddly sudden way he has. Raffles grins, and whispers into his ear, "Hullo. I can stop if– "

He never gets a chance to finish the sentence. Bunny turns and half sits up, and tugs clumsily at his shoulders, pulling him into an off balance kiss that doesn't quite turn out the way he probably intended. Or possibly it does, as Raffles tumbles down, maintaining the presence of mind to toe off his shoes, although that's a bit of a trick with Bunny kissing him.

That done, he falls entirely into Bunny's warm bed, and Bunny's warm arms, where he can give Bunny all the attention he deserves.

He's glad he knows his rabbit.
