Kay, I wrote this at midnight after watching "the Blue Spirit" for the fifth time that night. Sooooo, it might not be the best, but please review still!
Answer
One hundred years or more ago
A young boy asked a man
"If I could turn back the clock, do you think we could be friends?"
The teen could find no answer
For this strange inquiry
To think of a time without war?
Without pain and misery?
Flames overrode logic
And the young boy ran away
Leaving the man to wonder
What else he could say
He could have said he didn't know
Said that wouldn't be true
In a time without war
He wouldn't know what to do
A time when he could be happy
Have friends and was able to play
A time when he was home
A time when his mother had stayed
The sun hit the young mans eyes
And the dream disappeared
The boy knew the answer
Was hidden in a truth he did not want to hear.
