The Complete Review of the Potion's Master at Hogwarts

Ch.1

The Biography

Severus Snape grew up as the only child, alone and no one to confide in. His parents were not dependable on anything and it was up to him to make his life the best that it could ever become. Therefore he decided to work real hard and read through his books as diligently and precisely as possible. He was the type who ran off into hiding to his own world, the one he actually knows, alone and imaginary. Snape's life had always centered on his mind, his friends, his family, and his life. Through books he'd read constantly learning about new things, challenging himself to read more each day. His favorite subject was the study of alchemy and dark magic. He loved to read through new formulas and learning how to produce certain types of chemicals. Snape would use his little chemistry set to challenge himself, making difficult potions which no other student had tried before; and not to mention behind all his professor's backs. Professor Dumbledore however, sensed Snape's absences within the social groups at Hogwarts. Dumbledore eventually discovered that he was going beyond the school curriculum and left it to that. He did not want to interfere with a student's desire to learn.

Within Snape's first few years at Hogwarts, he was known to be the laughing stock of the whole school. Even Slytherin students were bickering at him as his greasy hair ran down that greasy face of his. Hufflepuffs were fearful of him, not of his personality, but more at his appearance. Worst of all, the Gryffindor students poked fun at him the most. As the popularity cliques clung, Snape was pushed further away from the social group. Not to name specifics, but a select group targeted Snape as the biggest geek of the school. This select group of Gryffindor kids would point their wands maliciously towards Snape and perform ridiculous spell prank experiments. These tricks would cause all sorts of damage both physically and mentally on Snape. Whether it was a bloody nose, or spiders running out of his ears, or even brain washing him into thinking that the world was upside down, Snape was tortured and it caused hurtful reactions towards him.

One may have wondered what caused Snape to think of such dark magic, and spells, but if one considers the psychological aspect of this human being, he has become totally destroyed by wizard society. Snape was completely destroyed and deprived of goodness as society prejudicially assumed him as being an outsider. His parents never took care of him well, and his peers would snicker at the way he dressed, and how he looked. So who wouldn't expect him as being an angry man, hating the world and wanting revenge, considering the facts of his history? This is where his story all started, and this is what leads up to him having a secret life which nobody knows until now.
