AN – Sorry for the delay here, hey its summer, what can I say?

Disclaimer – Wolverine belongs to Marvel

The junkyard that asshole told me about was the one near the city limits

Than again, aren't all junkyards?

The vibrations from my bike are beginning to get to me

Wish I had drove my Jeep instead

Course I didn't know this would happen

Course…neither did she…

That girl

Not now…stay focused

The end might be near

I want to savor the last mile

Not many cars on the road

Thank god for that

The exhaust almost kills me every time

The cold is slapping my face

Like the time Kitty thought it would be…funny to spray me with the hose

I don't wear a helmet because I can hear my own hair rustling against the inside

Like being in a room with a hundred people sandpapering away at old wood

I sniff the air

The smell of oil and grease is growing stronger

So is the smell of the rest of the city

The wonderful, clean, smell of the rain in almost gone

It was nice while it lasted

My legs feel like they are almost on fire from the heat of the bike

I sniff again

Just a little ways to go

I think about the girl

Who was she?

What plans did she have tonight?

Is there anyone waiting for her?

Maybe a boyfriend?

A husband?

A…child?

I twist the throttle on my bike

Giving her more life

More speed

Ignoring the pain in my legs

Ignoring the pain that shoot through my entire body when I hit that bump

It will all go away

But the memory of her will not

I'll give her justice

I'll…there

There's the junkyard

I park in the lot

The smells of oil, gasoline, lubes, and grease kill my nose

I walk up to the entry office

The door is locked

I look at the sign

Idiot

Of course they would be closed

It's about 4 am now

Why would a junkyard be open?

I look into the window

No one is there

I sniff the air a little

No smells of people

I'll have to find a place to shack up for awhile

I am assuming they work here

If they do

They will be back tomorrow

The sign says they close daily at midnight

Ill be back

AN – Sorry for the long wait and short chapter, the action returns in the next one. I just wanted to end it here so the spacing and flow would work well. The next one should be out in a few days. Please review, would like to know how you guys think I am handling Logan.
