Finally, and without much further ado, I give you the Epilogue! Not much to say here, except that I think I might've gotten Tidus a little OOC. Enjoy! Disclaimer: I do not own Final Fantasy X or any of its characters. I only own Yokio, Anne, Kyoko, and Tracey. Please do not sue me.

"Father! Father, where are you!" called a voice from up above me on the land. I turned to see Yokio standing on the beach, his blind eyes questing in vain for me as he tapped his stick on the ground to try to avoid obstacles.

"Yokio, I'm over here!" I said, and quickly swam over to the shore. It had already been a short 13 years since the day of the accident, the day of my children's birth. Yokio was growing into a fine young man, despite his disability, which I hoped we could someday cure. Anne was a beautiful teenage lady. She had definitely inherited most of her mother's physical traits, though she had my eyes.

"Father, mother is waiting at home." Yokio explained to me as I came up out of the water. I grunted before shaking my hair free of the saline solution- much to the dismay of my son, who took the brunt of the unwanted shower- and picked up my towel before drying my face off with it.

"FATHER!" he whined when the wet droplets hit his body. "Do you have to do that every time I come to get you from practice?" I laughed good-naturedly and ruffled his blonde hair, which was so much like my own.

"Of course I don't. I just find that it's more fun and far easier to do than trying to dry it with a towel." I said, to which he groaned exasperatedly. He muttered something about having to dry off again, just before I threw my arm around his shoulders. He yelped in surprise and jumped away in an attempt to keep from getting completely soaked, and it was my turn to express my own vexation, only in the form of a heaved sigh.

"Yokio, my clothes are completely waterproof." I explained with a roll of my eyes. "They dried off as soon as I got out of the water." I picked up the fish I had caught and hoisted them over my left shoulder, using my right arm to help my son to his feet. "The only thing you have to worry about is the fish over my left shoulder. They're soaking!" We laughed slightly, and I guided him slowly along the pathway back up to our home, where I knew everyone else was waiting for us.

"So, where's your sister?" I asked, recalling that he had not said that Anne was at home with Yuna. He glanced blindly in the direction of my voice, and shrugged.

"I think mother sent her to get something from the market." he replied, looking forward again. I made a noise of approval deep in my throat just before I caught sight of my brown-haired daughter out of the corner of my eye.

"There she is, now." I said, and I released my son to wave to Anne. She saw us, and came over with a smile.

"Hi, dad!" she said cheerfully. "Hi, Yuko!" I glimpsed my son's cringe at the use of his childhood nickname, but he grinned all the same and waved a little to his sister, though he could not see her. He had never been able to see her, and for a moment, my gaze fell. It's all because of my failure... I shook my head to rid myself of that thought when I heard my name being called. Well, my children's name for me.

"Father? Father, are you all right?" Yokio was asking. "You are not answering when I speak to you. Are you okay?" I mumbled an affirmative.

"Yeah." I smiled and hoisted the multiple fishes higher onto my shoulder. "Hey, I don't know about you guys, but my arm's starting to fall asleep. Whaddya say we head home so mom can help cook up something to eat?" My children laughed and nodded, and we all started walking home again, Anne chattering about Blitzball whilst Yokio listened intently. It didn't take long for us to reach our hut. I pushed the fabric door out of the way with one arm, holding it open as my twin son and daughter entered, laughing. There was suddenly a great shout of 'SURPRISE!' and I glimpsed Yuna as she pulled back the drapes from one of the windows to let in some light, exposing several of our family and friends all crammed into our tiny house.

"Wow! Thanks, everyone!" Anne exclaimed, staring around at everyone. Yokio, had a questioning expression plastered onto his youthful face.

"Huh?" was all he said before I took him by the shoulders and led him farther into the room.

"Happy birthday, guys!" I called to my children. This brought a smile to my son's lips as I grinned over at my wife. She had planned and prepared the whole get-together with everyone. I raised an amused eyebrow as I looked around at them all, and then I bent down to Yokio's ear.

"Hey, Kyoko's looking for you. You should go see her." I whispered to him. "She's over to your left- if you don't find her, she'll find you." Yokio smiled up at my voice and, with a nod, made his way over to Lulu and Wakka's pretty daughter. She had black hair with natural strawberry-red highlights, which matched her violet eyes surprisingly well. I watched as Anne hugged everyone in the room, save Tracey, Rikku and Auron's son, whose hand she merely shook. The two had not always gotten along, being far too alike in personality to be in the same room for long without clashing. Tracey had blonde hair that was black at the roots; one of his eyes was a deep, chocolate brown, and the other was a swirled green, just like his mother's. With a smile, I walked over to Yuna where she was still over at the window, watching as our children greeted everyone.

"So, you managed to actually cram everyone in here?" I muttered to her as I draped an arm around her shoulder, dropping the fishes onto the counter. She shot me a mock-scowl and swatted me on the chest, and then she broke into a smile and nodded.

"Yes, as you can probably see, I did." she said triumphantly. "Now, you get to go gather everyone up for dinner. In the back." I rolled my eyes, but nodded, and clapped my hands hard once, creating a sound similar to a gunshot, turning everyone's attention onto me.

"Anyone up for dinner!" I called, and most of them nodded. "Okay, then, follow Anne out back to the tables!" Anne nodded and walked out the door, a good number of the others filtering out after her, and I smiled at Yuna before taking Yokio by the shoulders and steering him outside. Most everyone was either seated or standing out back already, so I didn't have to wait long before releasing Yokio and shouting:

"Food's over here!" Kyoko, Tracey, and Anne all instantly dove for the food, much to the amusement of all of us, and we all followed their example- at a slower rate- as Anne fixed a plate for her brother, as well. I got some food for Yuna before it was inhaled, and I handed it to her as she walked outside.

"Hungry?" I asked. She smiled and nodded.

"Yes, very." she replied, giggling a little at the sight of the four adolescents. I smiled slightly, as well, though I was only hiding my guilt as I watched Yokio fumble around his plate with his chopsticks. Yuna, however, could read me like a large-lettered book by now, and took my hand, giving it a small squeeze.

"Tidus, you must not blame yourself for Yokio's blindness." she murmured in my ear, standing on her tiptoes to whisper to me. My face contorted slightly as I turned to her.

"Yuna..." I said quietly. "I... I can't help it. There's nothing I can do but watch every day as he grows more and more, but never sees anything, and...!" I trailed off with a frustrated sigh, poking at my food with my chopsticks.

"Tidus..." she undertoned. "Tidus, listen to me..." I looked over at her.

"Yeah?" I deadpanned glumly. She sighed with a roll of her eyes before placing her plate on the table in front of her and looking to the wooden surface.

"Tidus, there is something that is going to happen soon..." she began. My brow furrowed unconsciously as I started to become concerned.

"Yuna, what is it?" I demanded, setting my plate down. She looked up into my sapphire eyes, her own bi-colored irises pools of deep thought and emotion as she attempted to explain her statement.

"Tidus, the Fayth... the Aeons..." She trailed off, her eyes growing wide and ripping away from mine to settle on a point about three inches above my head. After a second, I followed her gaze, and my eyes also enlarged themselves. Hovering above the table where my children, Kyoko, and Tracey were seated was a huge dragon, one that I recognized instantly: Bahamut. Everyone else was staring silently at the Fayth, some mouths hanging open slightly as they gazed in awe at the magnificent creature. In a flash I was up and out of my seat.

"Bahamut!" I exclaimed. "What are you doing here!" The dragon's head swiveled to where he was looking me in the eye.

"Returning a favor once bestowed upon me by a teenage Guardian and his Summoner." he said, and I could have sworn that a smirk upturned the corners of his mouth before he turned his piercing stare to rest back on my son.

"Father...?" Yokio questioned uncertainly.

"It is okay, boy. I will not harm you." Bahamut intoned gently, and then leveled his fore and middle finger with Yokio's eyes, making him instinctively close them. Bahamut's fingers began to softly glow red, and when they stopped only moments later, Yokio opened his eyes and the Aeon disappeared into thin air. Yokio gasped loudly and raised his hands to his face, staring at them in awe. He looked over at me and Yuna where we stood only a pace away, and my breath caught in my throat when I saw that his pupils were no longer a grey, milky white, but a natural black, as they focused on us. He looked to his right, to his younger sister.

"Anne! Mother, father, I can see!" he exclaimed, and tightly embraced Anne, excited with the new sense. There were several gasps from around the yard, from Lulu and Wakka and Rikku, especially, and Kyoko and Tracey, too, and then all at once, all three of the other teens had Yokio in a group hug, all chattering incoherently in their excitement. I felt tears in my eyes when I realized that this was no joke, that my son could truly see, and I slowly sat down as Yuna joyfully wrapped her arms around my neck.

"Tidus, our son can see!" she whispered, her voice breaking, into my ear. I nodded against her arm, my tears of happiness and joy sliding down my face.

"I know, Yuna. I know." As our son and daughter ran over to join us in a tight embrace- Yokio able to dash for the first time in his life- I whispered to my wife,

"Life truly is beautiful, Yuna. And I wouldn't have it any other way."

END.
