I was watching TRL in Vegas and thought wouldn't it be fun if there was some Sarkney action in Sin City. Well, of course it would be…
Sin City – What Happens in Vegas, Stays?
Summary: I've only written this chapter but plan on writing about 'what happens when Sydney goes on a mission in search of the new head of the North American front of the Covenant and ends up marrying him in Vegas.
Chapter 1: Morning After
The golden rays of a new day touched her eyes waking her. Groggily, she moves her head on the soft pillows ignoring the day and embracing sleep.
Interestingly enough, she realizes someone is embracing her. Her eyes flutter and open wide in shock to find a hand on her breast. She closes her eyes again believing that when she opens them once more she will wake up alone like she's used to. Unfortunately, it didn't work. Looking at the hand, she notices that the person is wearing a wedding band.
The first thought that comes to her mind is "Vaughn."
Her eyes immediately scan the room to find herself in a hotel room, no a beautifully decorated suite destroyed only by the sight of clothes on the ground. In the darkness she can see the silhouette of lavish chairs in the corner and bottles of champagne on a table. She lifts her head slightly but her head immediately starts throbbing from her hangover.
"How much did I drink yesterday," she asks herself.
Looking at the clock, it reads 7:56 A.M. Carefully, she removes the hand off her afraid to wake its owner. She manages to lift the hand and place it on the bed without any problems. Her only problem now was to move the person's head without waking him.
Looking to her side, she takes a pillow and carefully places it beside her waist. As gently as she could, she places her hands on the person's head. She can feel the softness of his skin on her fingertips as she delicately moves it onto the pillow. Now she was left with trying to get out of bed as his body pins her down. As she is about to move, he starts turning. Immediately, she closes her eyes and lies very still. She can feel him shuffle in his sleep and turn towards the other side allowing her to move.
The room is dark except for the little light that peered through the curtains preventing her from seeing the person's face. Instead, she listens to the person's breathing to see if her movement had wakened him. After listening to the person's steady breathing, she gets out of bed and is shocked to see her nakedness. As she goes on the ground looking for her clothes, she finds her bra and a white dress. Unfortunately, her clothes are unsalvageable.
She scans the floor and spots the person's shirt putting it on. She stealthy moves towards the opposite end of the bed in search for pants. As she grabs his pants, she notices the person turning in his sleep revealing his nakedness. As much as she wants to ignore it, the pain tells her that whatever happened the night before was no dream.
The light of the clock shines on the person's face revealing to Sydney that last night was not a dream but a nightmare. A gasp escapes her lip because there under the green haze of the numbers was Sark sleeping soundly.
