Aya spun round at the touch, defensive. Yohji placed his thumb under Aya's jawbone, the better to look at him, and smiled, noting how Aya's gaze flicked towards the door and back before he relaxed, concerned that no-one should see him drop his guard.
Around other people, whether in the flower shop or out 'working' at night, Aya was lying with his whole body.
It had taken a lot of work on Yohji's part before Aya had let him peel away the layers of mental armour and touch the frightened young man that he tried to keep buried within him.
Aya arched his back against Yohji, turning his head aside and biting his knuckle hard to keep from making any sound. Yohji had no such qualms, finishing as always with loud moans. He disentangled himself and flopped down beside his partner, panting.
Glancing at Aya, lying satiated with eyes lazily half-open and unfocused, Yohji suddenly doubted the reasoning that had seemed so clear to him in logical daylight. Aya was clearly suppressing some facet of himself. Remembering the taut, violent strength beneath him, though, Yohji realized he couldn't tell which of the sides he had seen was the more real.
