You Say I'm The God

You say I'm the God.
I say you're a fool.
You think I know everything?
I'm not a teacher at school.

I'm dealing with a renegade nephew.
A past I barely remember.
When a planet doesn't know you,
Sometimes you want to surrender.

When you're so lowly a God,
You get yelled at for thinking loud,
All you can do is nod,
And try to hide in the crowd.

Maybe if I were a better man
I'd actually get some respect.
But for now I'm just a bitter man.
It's something I've come to expect.

Something tells me...
I'll die in a year.
But who would mourn me?
I'm nothing to revere.

I had wanted to change Ma Junior.
But I could not fathom how.
It took young Gohan Junior,
So a little kid surpasses me now?

A four year old does what I can't.
Maybe he should run this show!
Obviously, my uses are scant.
I wouldn't mind; his father already said no.

So down I look at this noble Earth.
And for myself, I feel such scorn.
I failed to prove my worth.
Why was I ever born?
