A/N: The second of several drabbles that were my fic beginnings written 4 years ago. A drabble may not be much of a start, but my brain tends to work in spurts. And, hey, we all have to start somewhere.

Benedict's Conclusion

She'd been pissed off at him all day. That comment in Engineering had really been unnecessary. And she'd been doing a damn good job of ignoring him since they'd arrived in Sandrine's 30 minutes ago.

Until he sat down next to her where she'd been sitting across from the Captain and began to spout horrible 20th century pick-up lines in a soft whisper in her ear. And she'd burst into laughter, startling Kathryn Janeway and turning most of the heads in the bar towards them.

Shakespeare had been right. Man is a giddy thing.

And she kissed him.
