A/N: Thanks for all the reviews! Here's more! And I'm sorry for the grammatical errors in last chapter (I still am sorry) Enjoy!! I was a ecstatic that I made the year book staff that I had to post a chapter as soon as possible. I'm writing this on my MS word processing microphone: I barely have to type!

I... I Think I'm In Love
I was walking around Diagon Alley still debating whether I should tell Sirius about my feelings for James. I was going to tell James on Christmas so it could be a surprise. The real question is would Sirius tell James if I told him? Maybe I could swear Sirius to secrecy. After a long while thinking I decided I was the best idea to tell Sirius anyway.
Now debating over what I should get James is a really big problem. After seeing all the belongs he has, I'm wondering what else does he need? Sirius and I stopped at an ice cream parlor because we couldn't think of what else he could want. I decided that I would tell him now.
"Can I tell you something Sirius?"
"Sure Lily," said Sirius eating his ice cream.
"Promise you won't laugh?" I asked, looking nervously around the parlor.
"Is something wrong Lily?"
I shook my head no as the response. He continues to eat his ice cream as I debate whether or not I should tell him. It seems like a good idea, and at the same time I wonder what I was thinking.
"If I tell you something... will you promise not to tell James?" I asked quietly.
He looked up from his ice cream. "What's up? Is it bad? Are you pregnant? Is James in trouble? Are you in trouble?"
"I'll tell you what's up, okay? I... I think I'm in love."
"With James?"
"No," I said with a straight face. "With Remus."
"Oh... this is not good," said Sirius, buying my story from the get-go. "Poor James—"
"I think I'm in love with James, you dolt!"
"So you do fancy James!"
"Yes," I said, ready to let out all the emotions I'd been feeling lately; all the ones I can't keep inside. "I can't stop thinking about him, Sirius! I've wanted to be around him, ever since our second kiss... I just realized he was the perfect person and he was remarkable and I've fallen for him!"
Sirius stared at me for a moment and started grinning. "So you do fancy James."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------
"What should I get him?" I asked in a panicky voice, as the sunshine of December 24th was ending.
"Calm down, Lily. Anything you get him he'll love anyway."
I paid no mind. "What doesn't he have?" I wondered aloud.
"You."
I rolled my eyes, continuing to look around Diagon Alley. We'd already been in Quality Quidditch Supplies four times. Maybe the fifth would be the charm. I looked back around the store, thinking quickly.
"You are going to tell him tomorrow, correct?" inquired Sirius after a moment of silence.
"Yes," I said quietly. "And bloody hell, I'm really nervous."
"You needn't bother being nervous."
"Is his dad always like that?" I asked looking at a pair of Quidditch robes.
"Like what?" Sirius asked, following my as I walked towards a rack of Quidditch books.
"Like the way he was yesterday."
"I suppose so. Why?"
"Don't you think that's a bit cruel?" I asked, walking towards a broomstick servicing kit.
"Cruel?"
"The way he treated James," I said quietly.
"That's just how he is. James' used to it Lil, don't think about it. Tomorrow's Christmas! And you can spend it snogging my best mate!"
I shot him a look at he grinned at me; I couldn't help but grin back.
"How do you like this?" I asked holding out the broomstick servicing kit.
"Just great," he said absently, and he continued to pest me about James.
"Oh Mum! Thank you so much!" I screeched as I opened up a knew record I had been wanting.
"Don't worry about it dear." We finished opening presents and got up to eat lunch. "Is James coming over today?"
"I don't know... he hasn't owled me."
My mum looked at the empty present under the tree. I had sent Amelia, Edgar, and Dorcas their presents already. Sirius had taken his, Remus' and Peter's home yesterday after we Apparated home.
The family silently ate brunch and then got ready to go to the Dursley's house for after-noon tea.
"Really you should go, Lily."
"That freak can't go with me—"
"Petunia!"
"Honestly Mum! I didn't tell Vernon yet—"
"What does it matter?" asked my mum.
"I'm not going if she is!" Petunia slammed her bedroom door, and I sighed.
Every time it's the same thing over and over again. Vernon this, Vernon that, Vernon thinks, Vernon doesn't want her to come over! Unfortunately it gets really old, really quickly. I decide to just stay home anyway and make up an excuse. This time I won't have to.
I walked up to the kitchen table where my mum was sitting. "But James is going to come over!"
My father raised his eye brows. "We're going to exchange gifts!" I added quickly.
"Why don't you Apparate over to his house?" asked my dad, continuing to look at the paper.
"Honestly, don't you trust me?" I asked skeptically, putting my hands on my hips.
"Of course we do," my father said instantly.
"He'll be over any time now. You go off and have a good time; I'll listen to my record until I get an owl from James."
But it turned out that barely ten minutes after they left, I didn't get an owl. James came over himself. We sat on my sofa as I brought his present over from the other room.
"Happy Christmas, Lil."
"Happy Christmas, James." I handed him the servicing kit.
"Whoa! Did Sirius tell you to get me this?" he asked, kissing me on the cheek (to which I blushed).
"Sirius wasn't any help," I admitted and we both smiled.
He handed me my present and I gasped as I opened it. It was a real, golden necklace, with a lion pendant, and a lily pendant (not to mention countless number of hooks empty).
"This—this is too much, James. I just got you a silly box for your broomstick—"
He grinned and I closed my mouth. "Shall I put it on?"
"Yeah—oh... this is spectacular James. Lovely! You're too sweet." I leaned over and kissed him on the cheek as I stood up. "Shall we go for a walk outside?"
I lead him to the snowy front of the house. We walked around the mini-park next door, and were silent for most of the time.
"Is there something you want to tell me?" he asked, catching me off-guard.
"What did Sirius say?"
"Nothing..." he looked at me oddly. "I can tell when you're nervous... or when you want to say something."
"I do," I admitted quietly, and beckoned him to sit next to me. "James... remember when... I said we could never be... anything?"
He looked at me skeptically, and nodded while looking away.
"Please look at me," I said softly. He turned to look at me. "Well... something happened."
"What is it?" he asked barely above a whisper.
"I... I think I'm in love with you..."
For a moment neither of us said anything, and we just looked around uncomfortably. James stood up after a moment and took my hand, leading me over to the gym part of the park; near the slide.
"You're—you're not joking, are you?"
"I would never joke about this with you," I said softly. "I'd never lie to you about this."
"You... you love me too?" he asked, almost going teary eye.
I nodded and he pulled me into a hug.
"Can you tell me?" he asked after a moment.
"Tell you what?" I asked, looking up at him.
"I love you, Lily."
"I love you."
And it was real love. I knew it was. It also happened to be the first time I'd said it to anyone that wasn't family. James took my hand in his, and kissed me softly on the lips. And though the snow was chilly against our huddled bodies, I felt warmth that was indescribable. James loved me too. James loved me too.
"I love you."
"And I love you."
A/N: That's it so far! Enjoy this chapter, because I enjoyed writing it. Once again, review if you like it, review if you don't. Love you all! And yes, I know that James' dad was a right prick. But if you read chapter 2 again you'll see that his dad stopped caring, and James doesn't like it. Plus it got them to hug, and look where they are now.
