A/N: The fifth of several drabbles that were my fic beginnings written 4 years ago. My brain tends to work in spurts. We all have to start somewhere.
Following a MisidentificationI did hear it. Yes, 100 people on this ship claim that same thing, but I really was on Deck 3 that night. And no, I won't tell you what I was doing there.
I was a full corridor over, but I imagine everyone with quarters on that deck, including the captain, was able to decipher every word. I imagine she was as amused as everyone else.
After all, Klingons don't normally squawk.
As I stepped into the turbolift, her words rang out, followed by a shout of laughter that shook the paneling.
"You kissed the doctor!"
