Summary: He knew from the moment he saw her. His first thoughts during Children of the Gods.

I was annoyed with her when she said she had practically memorized my report from the first mission and that she liked to think that she had been preparing for this her entire life.

I lusted after her knowing she had been in a simulated bombing run at 8 plus Gs.

I found her insufferable when she started in with the reconstitution of molecules.

I disliked her for being a scientist.

I hated her for being a theoretical astrophysicist.

I was intimidated by her intelligence.

I was shocked by her admittance that she had been working on this project for two years prior to our first mission through the Stargate.

I admired her for the courage she possessed when she stood her ground and said we should accept the fact that she was going on this mission.

I found her charming when she said I should address by her rank and not by, what did she call it? Her salutation.

I tolerated her borderline insubordination with that whole reproductive organ statement.

I gave due recognition to her when she stated her service in the Gulf War.

I was tempted to take up her challenge to arm wrestle.

I trusted her when she said she wouldn't let me down.

I found her endearing as she stared in the event horizon with the eyes of child and prattled off with her technobabble.

I loved her from the moment we met and I looked into those sapphire eyes.
