The Story:
"Hey, Kim." 20 year old Ron Stoppable smiled.
"Hey," 20 year old Kim Possible answered, "Well, this is it."
"Hey, have fun up there and good luck." Ron reassured, "And don't think about who you aren't. Think about who you are. A girl who could do anything."
"Yeah," Kim said uneasily, "But other than that, who am I really?"
"You'll find out sooner or later." Ron said.
"Ladies and gentlemen," the announcer cried, "Please welcome, Kim Possible!"
"That's your cue!" Ron whispered, and pushed Kim onto the stage.
Kim grabbed the microphone and began to sing as the music began.
Sometimes everything seems outta my reach
No matter how hard I try
Sometimes I feel like nothing at all inside
With everything that I try to hold onto
Just seems to slip away
And though I fall it keeps calling me back again
But I keep looking
I'll sink or swim
I keep searchin' to find the real me
Who am I?
Tell me
Where do I come from?
Who am I?
Tell me
'Cause it's like I don't fit in at all!
Kim spotted Ron sitting with her parents and twin brothers in the front row seat. Kim's mother's face was glowing with happiness and her father had a look of approval on his face. Ron smiled, and the twins pouted.
Sometimes I feel like runnin' away
And leaving it all behind
And try to find a place where I belong
I'll keep lookin'
I'll find myself
I keep searchin the find the real me
Who am I?
Tell me
Where do I come from?
Who am I
Tell me
'Cause it's like I don't fit in at all!
The crowd began to cheer and Ron whooped with joy. "Go Kim!"
Now, Kim suddenly knew who she was, other than the girl who could do anything. A singer.
(Am I)
Am I
(Am I)
Who am I?
I know
That I can do anything!
Who am I?
I know
That I can be anything!
Who am I?
I know
That I can do anything, anything!
Who am I?
I know
That I can be anything!
Who am I?
I know
Yes, I can be anything
Yes I can be anything at all------------!
When the music ended, the crowd applauded. Kim's parents stood up from their seats and began applauding rapidly. Ron jumped up from his seat and ran up from backstage to the front of the stage. He gave Kim a hug.
"You were awesome!" Ron smiled.
"Thank you." Kim flushed in embarrasment.
"And the winner of the Middleton Talent Competition is..." the announcer pulled out the results from an envelope. Kim held her breath.
"Kim Possible!" the announcer finished.
Kim let her breath out and smiled. She accepted the trophy and lifted it high into the air.
She truly was the girl who could do anything.
