Song of a Cursed Man

Disclaimer

Loosely based on the life of Remus Lupin but otherwise all mine.

Note

Just a little poem/original song based on the thoughts of our favorite werewolf.

Standing in the cold rain.

Standing in the Shadows.

Drowning in in Sorrow.

Living with the pain.

Seems that I just can't remove this stain from my soul.

Living life as an outcast.

Living with the memories of the past.

I spend my life counting down the days.

Watching it wax, as I wane.

Not quite human, not quite sane.

The moon is full, and I am empty.

It shines bright, and I fade.

No longer as God intended, no longer the man that he made.

Full Moon riding high in the sky.

And the man on the outside dies, and the wolf is born.

Wake up in the early morn bloody, broken, and torn.

Staring at the Calendar,

Cursing the nights sky.

No longer question no longer ask why.

Lived with this so long,

I've learned to be strong,

learned how get along, Somehow I've learned to carry on.

Look in the Mirror a face old before it's time

Worry etched in every line.

Fear of what I might do.

Fear of who I may hurt.

Treated lower than dirt, Shunned by society.

Never let me alone never let me be

Mistreated, Misunderstood.

No one sees the good, And who would.

And I spend my life counting down the days.

Watching it wax, as I wane.

Not quite human, not quite sane.

The moon is full, and I am empty.

It shines bright, and I fade.

No longer as God intended, No longer the man that he made.

Full Moon riding high in the sky;

And the man on the outside dies, and the wolf is born.

Wake up in the early morn bloody broken and torn.

And I've made it through another night,

Lived to see the morning light.

Woke up in pain Lying out in the cold rain,

Crawling to the shadows trying to hide my shame.

You need not know my name,

You need not see my pain.

Need not know the horrors of this cursed life,

Need not see me for the man than I am.

So go on go run and hide

And just ignore the man on the inside.
