Hellfire:
Kyo sat on the wall awaiting his turn. His girlfriend had dumped him for Iori. Iori had laughed in his face.
Rock Howard was thrown up against the cage.
"Winner…. Ralf Jones" The announcer shouted.
The medics dragged out Rock. Kyo got off the wall and walked into the ring.
"Hey Kyo well looks like were gonna fight" Ralf said.
Kyo said nothing Ralf charged him Kyo tripped him instant knock out.
"Winner Kyo Kusangi"
Kyo walked out of the arena Terry walked up to him.
"Thanks for kicking that guy's ass for Rock" Terry said.
Soiree a friend he made in last tournament against Duke, sat waiting for him outside with Mai, Terry, Rock, Ryo, and Yuri; Ryo's sister.
"So you beat Ralf pretty quickly huh?" Mai said.
"He's not so talkative since you know?" Soiree said.
"Well where do we go now?" Yuri asked.
"How about a restaurant?" Rock suggested.
"You guy's go I'M going to train on my technique" Kyo said walking towards the beach.
Mai fallowed him Kyo sat on the sand a flame resting in his hand.
"Cool trick can you make shapes?" Mai asked sitting next to him.
Kyo made her name in the sand with his finger. Mai made his under it Kyo was catching on. Mai made a heart around their names, Kyo set it ablaze Mai put her head on his shoulder.
THE next mourning:
Mai sat ready to fight her opponent Maxima walked into the ring. He quickly grabbed her neck and started choking her. Terry entered the ring and did his Buster wolf combo on the giant. The announcer blew his whistle.
"Terry Bogard you are disqualified" He said.
"What bull shit he was gonna kill her" Terry shouted.
"Well who is going to challenge Maxima and go on to fight Duke?" The announcer asked the audience.
'I will" Soiree said he walked into the ring and unleashed a whirlwind of kicks nearly killing the giant.
"Winner Soiree Alba"
Duke walked out he then drooped dead everyone waited then Iori walked out on stage. Soiree tried the same move on Iori, but was knocked down. Terry ran at the monster surrounded in purple flames. However, was kicked in the stomach stunning him.
"Hey Kyo are you going to fight me or have all your friends die and what about Mai?" Iori said.
Kyo walked out of the shadows Soiree help Terry out of the ring. Mai looked up Kyo was ready to die or kill this monster.
The ring was covered in the flames of the two warriors. Kyo attacked Iori but missed Iori pummeled Kyo in flames. Kyo got up wounded. Mai sat clutching the headband he gave her last night. Kyo used the Way of 182 and hit Iori. The arena was covered in flames purple and normal. Kyo fist glowed a magnificent color. He punched Iori the entire arena collapsed. Everyone fled, Mai was sobbing, and Rock and Terry took off their hats and held them over their hearts.
The building came down Kyo continued to attack Iori, purple demon wings sprouted on his back he flew up; the building collapsed on Kyo. Iori landed in front of Kyo's friends. He smirked; Ryo and Yuri tried to kick him but were pushed back by some barrier.
Out of the ashes of the building Kyo walked out fist engulfed in flames. Iori ran at him the two caused a ring of fire to appear around where they were fighting.
"Hey Kyo I forgot to mention your girl is great in the sak" Iori said.
Kyo focused on one spot.
"Hellfire blitz" Kyo yelled ask he beat Iori up and causing the two of them to fly up into the sky.
"Now you die Kyo said kicking Iori in the face. The two hit the ground. Mai ran to Kyo crying.
"Kyo….." she said.
"Hey I'm not dead," Kyo said. He slouched Mai hugged him.
"Ow I'm still little sore" Kyo said.
"Sorry" Mai said and then kissed the King Of Fighters.
