Disclaimer: I don't own anything to do with CSI. I do, however, own Jude Ramsey, and I intend to keep it that way until they trade with me. The only deal I will settle on is Jude for Greg. They can toss Nick in there too if they want- but until then, Jude is mine!
Summary: Mia gets a promotion to another lab, and Greg is left to train the replacement.
"Mia, you can't leave! You just can't!" Greg whined to Mia as she was placing her belongings into a box. She turned to him and smiled. "It'll be fine. I found someone to replace me…all you have to do is train her, and everything will be fine. Relax. You'll be an awesome mentor!" Mia said reassuringly. Greg sighed sulkily. He really didn't want to have to do this. "Fine. Have fun is San Francisco." He said, and walked out of the room in a huff. Mia smiled, and made sure she had the last of her things. She then headed off to Grissom's office.
Grissom handed Mia her last paycheck, and her recommendation folder. "You'll be missed." Grissom said. Mia smiled. "I'll come back and visit, I promise!" She said. They both smiled at each other, and Mia checked her watch. "I should get going. Thanks so much for everything." She said. Grissom waved at her on her way out the door. "Good luck!" He said. Mia gave him a huge smile, and a thumbs up. And then she was gone.
