Worth the Chance
He stood there for a moment, with his hands on his hips, in his normal stance, watching her test fire different guns, her long blonde hair ran right down her back, it was beautiful, he thought, just like her, he watched her a moment longer before finding the courage to go in and talk to her again, he knocked on the lab door, walked in and shut it behind him. Calleigh took off her ear muffs and turned around,
'Horatio,' she said surprised, 'I didn't hear you come in,'
'Sorry, I knocked, you had your ear protection on,' she smiled, he thought she had the most beautiful smile, her green eyes sparkled,
'What's up?', she asked him, referring to why he had come down to ballistics,
'I've been meaning to tell you something for a while now', he replied looking at her, then looking down again,
'O, and what's that?', she asked, intrigued, he smiled and looked back up at her, he stepped a little closer to her, looking right into her green eyes, she looked back and allowed him to step so close to her, he stepped closer again until they were millimetres apart, Calleigh's heart began to race, as did Horatio's. He looked down at her lips, then back to her eyes, Calleigh saw this and she did the same, she looked down at his lips then back up into his eyes, Horatio leaned in, and before she knew it, his lips were on hers, kissing her, so much passion in that one kiss, she kissed him back with everything she had, Horatio put his hands on her hips and pulled her closer, she put her arms around his neck and carried on kissing him, after an amazing moment between them they reluctantly broke apart for air. Horatio then kissed her again, and again, and before they knew it, they were on the floor, Calleigh had pulled Horatio's jacket off and was unbuttoning his shirt, while Horatio had pulled Calleigh's jacket off her and was lifting her top over her head, they broke apart while Horatio removed Calleigh's top and as soon as it was off their lips found each other again. He spread his jacket out on the floor of the ballistics lab and lay her down on it, still kissing her, their lips not parting except for air, Horatio removed the rest of his shirt and went to work unbuttoning Calleigh's trousers, he moved his kisses down to her neck, down her chest and down her stomach to her belly button, she groaned in pleasure, he moved back up to kiss her lips again, he removed Calleigh's trousers and then removed his own while still kissing her, Calleigh ran her hands over his strong, muscular body, pulling him down on top of her, they continued kissing and undressing each other until they were fully unclothed, and laying on the floor of the ballistics lab on Horatio's jacket, they made love, long and passionately, neither one remembering where they were, fortunately it was late and most people had gone home, it was dark and no one could have seen them unless they walked into the lab and turned the lights on. When they did finally realise were they were they got up, and got dressed quickly, hoping no-one turned up, when they were dressed, Horatio turned to Calleigh he held her hands in his and said,
'I love you', then he kissed her, she kissed him back with as much passion as she had before,
'I love you too', and they walked out to the CSI:Miami car park hand in hand, smiling.
