Notes: The first drabble I ever wrote- inspired by a doujin cover, of all things.

"There's just so much I can't remember..." Yami no Yuugi speaks carefully. He isn't very sure of how to put his thoughts into words. He hates that. And even when his thoughts make perfect sense in Egyptian, in his own mind, when he goes to tell Yuugi, it comes out not quite the same.
Yuugi sits on the bed, looking up at the spirit of the Puzzle. "Yes?"
"Sometimes I wonder if I've done horrible things in the past. If there's a reason I can't remember."
Yuugi smiles. "I'm sure you didn't."
"Why?"
Yuugi brings his hand up to Yami no Yuugi's chest, less then an inch away from the spirit. If he tries to press his hand against Yami no Yuugi, it sinks through. He's done it before.
"Your heart- it stays in the right place."
