Yami no Bakura gives Malik a crocodile grin, a grin almost too big for Ryou's mouth. "Trust me."
"I never said I didn't."
Yami no Bakura puts his arm around Malik and speaks into his ear. "You're thinking it. You're hesitating."
Malik doesn't answer, but glances down the hall and back to Yami no Bakura, before pressing a brief kiss to his lips.
"That wasn't in our deal." Yami no Bakura seems not unhappy with this, pressing a kiss to Malik's temple. He can feel Malik's heartbeat there, beating slowly, like a countdown.
Malik knows he can feel it, and pushes him away as gently as he can. "Just hold up your end of our deal."
And as Yami no Bakura goes down the hall, Malik leans against the wall for a moment.
