Reunion
The blow hit me hard
Now I feel strange
I look down and see Van Helsing mourn
The realization hits me now
I have been scarred
Things will change
My soul beings to float away
The image of Van Helsing blurs
I see a light ahead of me now
What is there I am unsure
I hope it is my family
My prayers are answered
I many people
I see my father
I am grateful now
I am now at peace
My father hugs me
My grandfather hugs me
I am greeted by others I do not know
Family members to be sure
I know now that I am home
Home among family
Home among those I know
Home among those I love
The past is gone and lost
No longer does it play a part
I should live in eternity
With my family
They are grateful to me
I tell them I own Van Helsing
He saved my family from Purgatory
He saved me from my destruction
My father embraces me still
He is unwilling to let me go
I ask him about my brother
My grandfather grows sad
He is not with us, my father confesses
Pain bursts into my lungs
He will be punished for sins not his own
My father still holds me tight
He tries to reassure me

Slowly the light begins to fade

I see Van Helsing mourning me still
I smile at him and know he sees me
He is stunned and I mouth a hello
I am at peace

I am thankful for his help

In eternity and peace
