an: Hi, yeah this is my first fan fiction and it sucks on ice in my opinion. I was listening to 'We belong together' by Mariah Carey when I wrote it so it seems really stupid to me at the moment. Uhhh… yeah so please enjoy!

A 16 year old Tomoyo with her long hair in one flowing braid snaking down her back, sat calmly at the edge of a small lake outside of the city. It was a pleasant place to be and she came often. Staring at the lake her thoughts of a certain someone were interrupted by a certain blue haired blue eyed boy jumping down from the large oak tree she was rested under.

"Hello Daidouji-san," came the somehow excited and calm voice of Eriol.

" Oh, hi Hiiragizawa-kun," was her bored reply. 'Oh god, I have no time for you Eriol… please just go away' was the choice of words that she was thinking about saying, but was too polite to.

"What are you doing here?" Eriol asked her, his voice echoing off the surrounding landscape. She turned slightly around to see him standing there, his hair blowing slightly in the wind. 'I never noticed how perfect he looks before now…?' Tomoyo thought slightly confused.

"Thinking," was her bored un-practiced reply. Eriol smirked and moved slightly closer to her.

"Ah, I see… Are you perhaps thinking about Sakura-chan?" He asked half-jokingly, for he knew the answer. A small gasp escaped her lips as she realized that he was correct. She watched him chuckle knowing that he was right.

" H-how did you know that I was thinking of Sakura-chan?" She asked somewhat suspiciously. Eriol paused to think of how to phrase his answer and it seemed he finally had a suitable answer, for he sat down next to her and turned her face to his.

"Let's just say that I haven't been watching over just Sakura and my cute little descendent," he muttered winking at her.

"Ah, it would appear that way," he stated un-helpfully. His small smile had turned into an all out giant goofy grin. Apparently he liked to confuse people.

"Has anyone ever told you that sometimes you are too smart for your own good?" Came a quiet un-expected voice from behind the two of them.

"Ah!" Tomoyo screeched as she realized that someone was standing behind her. She whirled her head around to find a half contented Syaoran leaning against the large tree looking at them. Putting a hand to her racing heart she sighed and mumbled "I am so sorry Li-kun, you scared me."

"I am so sorry Tomoyo. I was just listening to your conversation," Li said smirking.

"On that subject… you ruin everything, you know that?" Eriol said in an annoyed tone. The boy laughed and moved forward, in their direction.

"Ah, but even if I hadn't interrupted, she still would never have understood you. You use useless metaphors and don't explain anything you say."

"Understand what?" Tomoyo asked neither one of them in particular.

"That you belong together," Syaoran stated. Eriol sighed and turned to face her.

"Tomoyo… I love you," he calmly said once he had her attention.

"You… love me?"

"Yes…"

"Eriol," she literally screamed through her tears. She hugged him tightly and continued, "Oh Eriol! I love you so much. Syaoran was right… We belong together," Syaoran smiled and walked away from the happy couple who had forgotten that he was still there. 'Finally' he thought as he walked off into the sunset to find Sakura and tell her the good news.
