Chapter Two: The Odyssey Begins…
Sebastian Valmont was born with what some people might say a "silver spoon." From his birth, he'd had everything handed to him on a
silver platter: looks, wealth, and charm. But Sebastian considered that his intelligence far surpassed his other attributes. He prized his
brains, which had the potential to give him a place in almost every woman's bed and to destroy anything and everything that blocked him
from getting what he desired.
However, like all villainswho have graced the world with his/her presence, Sebastian fucked up. He fucked up big time. He knew he
shouldn't have pursued Samantha Green, his father's fiancée but god damn, she was gorgeous with long tumbling curls, long eyelashes,
and naturally pouty lips that women spent thousands on. After catching his son in bed with his fourth fiancée, Edward Valmont promptly
kicked his son out without so much as a goodbye and left him penniless in the streets.
Sebastian was deadlocked in an endless predicament. He had nowhere to go and his father had practically disowned him. He took up
lodging at Blaine's place, at a price of course but he had no way to pay that price. He was originally going to matriculate Columbia
University but of course, all his means for financial support were cut off. Sebastian was repulsed by the idea of a dead end McJob at one
of the many fast food restaurants in Manhattan. Finally, Blaine pulled some strings and Sebastian found himself land in the position of
photographer for Ryan Kings, one of the most exclusive fashion designers in New York City.
Blaine dryly remarked that Sebastian was going to make his name in the photography business and marry one of King's supermodels with
a life of drugs, sex, affairs, and screaming matches. Sebastian wasn't convinced on the photography part but he was sure that he would
meet some interesting models. However, Sebastian would think about it later, and he often would, and it would occur to him that,
uncharacteristically, Blaine was wrong. Or at least the on the "supermodel part" because on the day that he walked into the offices of
KING'S DESIGN, was the day that he met Kathryn Merteuil.
