This is just a little one shot I did whilst I was bored. Haven't written in a while but I hope this is okay!
The news had got to them by owl...directly to the dorms as Errol was ordered to go there and only there. Ginny had held her brother and comforted him. Her face was stone blank as she held him. Hermione was around...watching the young girl bury her emotions as always. Hermione had always thought she could break the firehaired girl down. To help her. To let her release herself in other ways than what she was used to...Hermione didn't agree with it but knew that Ginny needed to see...the blood? The scars? It was a mystery to Hermione but she was there for her all the same. Hermione took Ginny away from the crowds. Took her into the dorms and held her close. The younger girl still seemed blank. Just sat there motionless in her arms.
The room went black. Both of them tried to shriek in horror but nothing came out. As suddenly as the darkness came the light surrounded them again...but this time they were outdoors...the air was cold yet the girls seemed fine. Ginny raised her head to meet Hermione's. Kissed her softly on the lips and let the unshed tears trickle down her face.
''Hermione...I don't know what to do. I can't take losing her but...I won't admit...I won't'' Hermione wrapped her arms around Ginny and held her close , whispering in her ear words of comfort and sweet nothings.
''Baby she's gone...she's gone...'' Small hands started to pound lifelessly at the brown haired girls chest , sobs radiated from her as she flung herself into Hermione. The brown haired girls grip tightened and pulled Ginny into a loving and controlling embrace.
The tears ran down her cheeks and sobs could be heard from the lump that was attatched to Hermiones chest.
''Shhh baby it's okay , it's okay'' Hermione softly ran her hand up and down the younger girls back to try and sooth her. Rain was falling all around them and before long their clothes were soaked through. Neither of them moved from the grassy spot in which they sat. The wind howled and blew the remaining leaves from the trees. Winter was well set in and the dark sky showed it. At 6pm it was already dusk , light streaks accross the sky emphasized the sun setting. How they had got there neither of them knew , but they were together , Ginny had finally broken down and love was all either of them needed.
