Opposites Attract
They say opposites but I don't think that's so,
They say opposites attract when they're together,
But me with my opposite?
Never!

His ego is huge, his flirting is awful,
His arrogance knows no end,
He's stuck up, selfish and downright annoying,
He'll never be my friend!

He's bigheaded, a show off,
As stupid as you can get,
I knew something was not right,
From the very first time we met,

He's constantly harassing me,
Like a shadow that can't frown,
I turn him away, he springs back up,
He never knows what's down,

He embarrasses me, he torments me,
Though he does it without knowing,
I want to shout, I want to scream,
But I try to keep it from showing,

He's so immature, so irritating,
His confidence is too much,
He'll never be a buddy or a pal,
Or anything as such!
They say opposites attract when they're together,
And I believe that's right,
I try and try and try and try,
She never goes down with no fight,

Her hair is long, her eyes are green,
She's as pretty as can be,
We compliment each other so well,
I just know there is a 'We',

She's smart and funny with her friends,
She's kind towards her house,
But why, oh why, does she hate me?
She sees me as a louse!

I ask her out, she refuses me,
I don't understand her at all,
How could she resist my charm?
She never seems to fall,

I know her hate, I know her dislike,
But I refuse to believe it,
My mates tell me to forget about her,
But I just can't leave it,

She's perfect in every way,
But I do know the fact,
She hates me to my very bones,
I just hope opposites attract!

And ta da! A poem on James and Lily. As you probably know, the first few stanzas is from Lily's view on James and the second is James's view on Lily! Anyway, It's a little humourous but how did we do anyway? Please review!
