Why is she silent?

She never says it, I know

But then again, I don't either

Is this how we show that we care?

She puts up with me from time to time

And I appreciate her patience

Of course, she gets upset

But then everything is fine

Sometimes I get a little confused

But then I always turn

And remember

That she is there, beside me

But I also wonder

Why are we so silent?
