Incomplete: Chapter One – In the Case of Syaolan
"She still isn't talking." Syaoran sighed as he exited the room of what would probably considered his best friend since he had been cast to this dimension. At seventeen, he was tall with long chocolate colored hair with blonde streaks, ruby colored eyes, and tan skin. He was lean but well built, a sword sheathed and swung across his shoulders.
"At least she's not refusing to eat anymore." Ishtar had the appearance of a ten year old girl, but he knew she was much older. Her appearance reminded him of Tomoyo when she was ten years old. He always expected an emerald eyed girl with auburn hair to pop up any moment.
"And at least you don't have to be afraid of being attacked everytime you enter the room." Selkie grimaced as she came down the hall. Selkie was tall with short brown hair and golden eyes, her skin was a pale alabaster and her ears were sharply pointed. Her voice was husky, what, he figured, most men would consider sexy. Of course, Selkie, was more than just what men would consider sexy, she was deadly. He'd watched her in battle before, so it always seemed to surprise him how normal she was outside of fighting.
"They'll heal, it'll just take time. Syaoran, I need to talk to you." Ameryaah was a petite creature with mismatched eyes of green and blue, black hair shaved all except for two long bangs that reached to her waist, and sharply pointed ears. Out of all the people he had met since coming here, she was the only one he was truly wary of. She looked like a young punk teenager, but Syaoran knew better. In her case looks were definitely deceiving.
"There's news from the Oracle about a dimensional shift. Looks like it might be the same as the type that brought you here, but she's unsure yet. She thinks that Celeste should be able to harness the power but there's also a chance that it could pull us all in with it. The problem is, that a Wizard has never harness the power of a dimensional shift before, so it could get really messed up." He nodded as he trailed Ameryaah down the hall.
"So you want me to start looking for information? See what I can find in the old tomes and see what I can write out in spell casting for Celeste?" Ameryaah nodded, as she stopped at the door.
"You could finally go home if everything goes right. You got that girl in your dimension, right?" Syaoran nodded as he stopped with Ameryaah.
"But I don't know if she's still waiting for me." Ameryaah grinned as she opened the door.
"If you'd been my boyfriend and you just disappeared, I'd go through hell and back to find you. She's still waiting, trust me." She grinned broader at Syaoran's surprised expression as she walked in the room and shut the door.
"That woman never fails to surprise me….. A way home and back to her……. I hope she's still waiting….." He sighed and walked down the hall, his thoughts on home and a certain emerald eyed girl.
