Hello, this is me being bored today. My latest chapter of 'Masked Rose' is being a nuisance and refuses to finish off. So I took the opportunity to write a few poems that have been hanging around for a while.

Obsession
Dark notes drift skyward
Twined with the dusk
Haunting, solitary,
Night swirls, threaded with music.
Dark eyes close
Possessed by music
Long fingers spinning the melody
An echo of a lonely soul
Candlelight flickers,
Shuddering lines across your dreaming stance
At last at peace in darkness
Where light flees from your face
Will anyone ever see this side,
Beauty beneath the pain?
Those who hear the music
Drifting up from a land of night
Shift in their sleep
And their dreams
Change.
