In Denial
Love is something,
I'll never feel,
Too many scars,
That will never heal
I cut myself,
Just to know I'm real,
Too many emotions,
I keep them sealed…
I don't want anyone to know,
What I'm thinking in my head
And I don't want anyone to hear,
Things I've never said.
Because they are the things,
I'll never say
The pain,
That builds on from yesterday.
The pain is growing,
Without me knowing,
I'm hitting a wall,
Unprepared for the fall
I stop and start
And it's tearing me apart,
But I refuse to let anyone see,
I'm only open…to me…
