Have you ever realized,
That you were holding your breath?
Waiting for something unexpected,
Like maybe your death
You close your eyes
And brace your mind
Ready for an impact
Or something else to bind
To hold you from reality
To keep you in
To hide you from the truth
That lies within
Do you find yourself waiting,
For something or someone?
Maybe you'll find out
Before this evil deed is done
So maybe patience
Really is the greatest virtue
But maybe there is one way
To see if it's true
Just try waiting a little big longer
And see what happens in the future
Because until then
You can never be sure…
