A/n; This is the first time I've posted anything for Mars, but I've been loving it for years. I will probably start a story if people like this. So please review.

Before I walked a shrouded path
A rode to nowhere; I was at a loss
And then you were there to pick me up
You were there to show me
Show me the path I had to cross
You helped me with words
You nourished my ears
You whispered sweet things
I yearned to hear
Pulling me out of the void
I had been rotting in for years
But it ended so sudden
I could only say goodbye
You taught me many things
Most importantly that it was okay
To cry
