Let Go:
Hey everyone, this story is made for laughs. I can almost guarantee that by the end of this short one shot you will be thinking something along the lines of 'WTF was that!'. I wrote this after 5 pages of a conversation about this pairing on the Sutoraiku forums. It doesn't take place during a specific time period of the series. Flames are expected, but not enjoyed. Hope you all enjoy it or at least laugh

Neo had a tough decision to make, but he knew what he had to do. He had to let her go. Only harm could come to her if he didn't, and he didn't want to be the one to cause her pain. A battle was approaching one that he knew they were going to lose. He slowly picked her up and carried her to the outside of the ship. They were right above the ocean, and from where he was he was able to put his hands in the water.
He paused for a minute and thought back to all of the good times they had shared together while he looked at his reflection in the ocean water. Removing his mask, thoughts of all the times he had talked to her, and she was the perfect listener appeared in his head. Also she was also the only person he would remove his mask in front of because he knew she would never say anything that would hurt him or stare. He opened himself up to her by removing his mask which covered the scar he had on his face. She was the only one he could ever open himself up to and now he had to let her go... At this point he splashed the salt water on his face letting it mix with the tears that were falling down his face that he just realized were there.
Looking around and seeing everyone else who had been outside now going back in he knew it was almost time, Zaft was after them. Sure enough when this thought passed through his mind the alarms were turned on and calls to return to positions were called out throughout the ship. Wiping his face of the water he put his mask back on and looked down at her once more.
It was now or never. Sticking his hand in the fish bowl he took out the fish Stellar had left for him to care for. Giving it one last gentle stroke across the side he put it in the water. With a whispered goodbye he headed back into the ship to get into his suit.
Bet you weren't expected that XD. On the forum I told you about above others and myself (tennisprincess16 there) in the romance section for GS/GSD have a topic about NeoxFish. It is mostly for laughs. I have another in mind that others found the idea funny, but I have to form a plot for it which I am currently still working on. Hope you all didn't expect it and had a good laugh at the end. Until next time.
