Just a little chat

Notes: Reira was OOC and so was Kiyomaro... Ah well, best I could do. This pairing has SOME basis and well...

A teen had just finished visiting his best friend, and was looking for a small demoness. He came upon a tree.

"Hello, Kiyomaro." said small demoness smiled and her light violet eyes lit up, and she scooted a little on the tree branch so there could be room for her friend.

"Hello Reira!" exclaimed Kiyomaro, grinning as he sat next to the purple haired demon girl on a tree in the Makai.

"How are you today?" asked Reira as Kiyomaro steadied himself on the branch.

"Alright. Have you settled in?" asked Kiyomaro. Reira smiled brightly.

"Hai. Victorim and I are sharing a cabin, since we were partners back 1000 years ago…" Reira sighed and Kiyomaro felt the need to cheer her up.

"Hey, are you 1008 or just 8?" asked Kiyomaro curiously. He actually had been wondering this for a while, but he had said it in a joking fashion. Though, either way, demons could live for millions of years, like the Headmaster for instance.

"My mind is a thousand years ahead of my body, though I am still eight I guess…" Reira shrugged. "I mean, I like to play with toys and lay around imagining things…"

"Ah…" Kiyomaro smiled at the girl and she smiled up at him, and you could see in her eyes, she was young, but had experienced so much…

Reira smiled once more.

"So, Kiyomaro, you're the king's partner. How does it feel?" Reira winked at the teenage ningen, who smiled down at her. Reira was mostly quiet, but when around her close friends, such as Victorim and Kiyomaro, she could just let go and enjoy herself.

Kiyomaro smiled at the small demon.

"Well, Gash is very happy. It's almost set in stone now…" Kiyomaro looked over at the Headmaster's castle, AKA the school.

"What is?" asked Reira.

"Gash is changing things…" said Kiyomaro. "So that there will never be another war in the Ningenkai again…"

"Then how will there be a new king?" questioned Reira.

"He'll choose a new one a thousand years or so from now…" said Kiyomaro, waving his hand to change the subject. "Ne, Reira, you seem very happy today… Anything special going on?"

Reira grinned a "Gash Bell" grin, where she kind squinted her eyes, blushed, and her mouth formed a smile.

"I have become a woman!" proclaimed Reira.

Kiyomaro stared blankly at her. Reira was acting extremely out of character. But, she was also very happy, and sadly, that was also out of character for her.

'Wait…' Kiyomaro's eyes widened. Did demons mate at young ages too, such as certain animals? "You… You… Er… You had… Ano…"

Reira blinked and stared at him.

"I didn't have anything." Said Reira plainly. "I have become a woman, because…"

Reira leaned close to Kiyomaro and whispered in his ear.

"I fell for someone…" whispered Reira. "I fell in love…"

Kiyomaro turned to her.

"With who?" questioned Kiyomaro.

"Aishiteru, Kiyomaro…" Reira gave Kiyomaro a kiss on the cheek and leapt off the tree, before running off. Kiyomaro stared dimly at her and touched his cheek.

It was much later Kiyomaro, Megumi, Folgore, Dr. Guess, Sherrie, Wururu, and Shiori headed to the portal of the Makai. Kiyomaro had been completely silent the entire time.

"Er… Kiyomaro-kun…" started Megumi. Kiyomaro looked up and blinked.

"Yes Megumi-san?" stammered Kiyomaro.

"Well, I saw you with Reira-san on my way to Tio and Gash's castle…" explained Megumi. "Did something happen?"

"Huh?" Kiyomaro blinked and forced a small blush down. "No, nothing… We had, er… Just a little chat, that's all…"

Megumi smiled brightly.

"Alright then…" She leapt into the hole in the tree, and was followed by everyone else, save Kiyomaro.

"Ja for now, Reira…" said Kiyomaro softly as he jumped through the portal.
