Ever since Battle City two members of the 'group' have been on the low down. A year later they were still in a quiet relationship. They have talked it over more then once during a 'meeting' of how and when they should tell their friends and family. However when one or the other had gotten the courage to say it aloud, something went wrong. One would be late or out of town. Then there was the mounds of fan girls who would surround them outside a store and such.
Both lovers played good parts on being un-noticably close. They acted just like they use to. Always doing something to keep their friends thinking normal thoughts. But like they say, things are different behind closed doors.
Even durning dinner dances, balls, concerts, all of it, these two people have kept it closed to the city of Domino.
Having something wonderful and not beable to spread it to the world and let them know that you love this person without caring on how everyone feels does puts pressure on a person. However both have learned to master the art of secrecy. But one is getting uneasy and the secret gets heavier everyday.
So they set up a night evening in the backyard of their secret kept home.
"I can't keep it to myself, koishii."
"We're here together on a clear beautiful night. I know it's not much, but it's something."
"We both know how much this secret relationship is wearing on the nerves. I go crazy when we're in a room together and can't be affectionate. Also we've been in more arguments over the past weeks then last years total."
"That's exaggerating it alittle."
"That maybe so, but it still shows what I'm talking about."
"Fine. For you koi, I'll do something to satisfy your need to be open with others about our secrets."
"Thanks koishii."
"Good, now lets eat."
Three weeks went by though, and nothing happened to lighten the heavying burden.
"Koishii I thought you we were going to work on being more public with our feelings. It's been going on eighteen months. Much more days of secrets and I think I'll burst."
"Don't worry koi, I said I would satisfy your wanting."
"Oh and when might this be?"
"You'll see. In the mean time just hang with your friends."
"Fine. I'll miss you."
"Missing you already."
The microphones squealed in feedback. The speaker was silent. He stood on stage in his own thoughts. The camras kept rolling. "There's one more thing I would like to say. As CEO of Kaiba Corp, I Seto Kaiba do not care anymore about how others feel. Not that I did before. But there is someone specail to me and for a year and a half I've kept him and the relationship secret." He relaxed. "So to finalize this meeting there's something that I've been meaning to say to the one I love. I told him that I would to something to make him happy. So Jou, I love you and did this for you on public television."
It was ok. I had it better worded in my head, but I'll go with what comes out in print. (lol) What did you think? Pretty good, bad. Tell me. I'll be happy with whatever.
