Poem: The Month of May
Eiko: I don't know what I was thinking. but its amusing, so therefore its good. Btw, this is my first LotR poem!
Skye: Eikos maths: amusing equals cheese equals good...cheese doesnt nessicarily need to be involved!
The Month of May
Many many years ago,
On a sunny day when there was snow
In Lorien there stood a man
Who looked rather foolish doing the can-can.
They said his name was Boromir
They had no idea how he turned up there.
So the Elves shot their arrows and began to sing,
And Frodo ran away with the One Ring
Oh what a fright they had that warm day.
In the depths of winter and the month of May.
When Sauron the Evil and Bad Dark Lord,
Put on lots of make-up because he was bored!
And so ends this crazy little tale,
In Poetry Classes I would probably fail.
And the Fellowship went on their weary way,
In the deep mid-winter in the month of May.
