A/N FINELY I have a new chapter up! Review Please!
Draco hung back watching these good friends in action. It was to be included in this great network that he had turned against his father and the Dark Lord in the first place. He remembered one night in particular that had decided this for him.
He had been hit by a badly aimed Crucartus curse and found himself being left by other Slitherins who were against Dumbeldore. Then he'd been spotted by Hursman and her blind mud-blood friend Cano. When they'd fought their way through to help him he'd been surprised to say the least. Then they'd taken him to safety where Emily Charles had healed his injuries.
That incident had shown him he was more voluble to them then to his own allies. It had opened his eyes to cruelty of the master he was destined to serve. Now he knew only one other person who had made that choice.
What had that got him? He's dead and still considered evil by most of wizard-kind. Then what about what Hursman said, "In honor of Severus Snape." She'd cared for him, and risked her life for him too. Was it worth it?
Lucious hurriedly took aim; "Avada Kadovra!" his spell missed Reamus' head by inches.
In his haste he'd not had time to focus on his target. Amber lurched forward and they both overbalanced. They both got to their feet quickly dodging something that sped past them.
Reamus gathered her in his arms pulling her out of the way. Her eyes seamed to glow momentarily. He knew that had something to do with her lagelamency powers though he did not know what. He held her tightly she was trembling.
"What did I tell you?" Sirius' voice returned with a laugh Reamus could almost see him smiling. She looked up eyes wide in surprise. He wondered if she could hear Sirius too, "No, she's hearing another." Reamus thought that sounded rather cryptic.
Meanwhile the Ford Anglia was turning for another go at Lucious, Ron was steering.
"You missed him!" complained Aziza
"I had to," he defended, "I might've hit Amber otherwise."
"Emily, get away from the door, I'm getting out here." Draco said half standing ready to jump clear of the car.
"Why?" asked Emily surprised.
"This won't stall my father for long; I'm going to help them."
"OK," she said moving, "and Draco be cardful."
He turned back looking at them for a moment, "I will," he said simply.
He jumped from the car tumbling for a second before colliding with a tree. Harry met him and helped him up, "You Ok?" he asked brushing Draco off.
"Yes, I'm fine, thanks Harry."
"You're welcome." He responded offering him his hand to shake. Draco accepted it at once and they turned to go save their friends.
Lucious realized he was outnumbered when he saw the car turning for a third pass. The half-breed and Hursman had turned and had their wands leveled at him. His son had just shook Harry Potter's hand and was coming from the other direction.
"Better to live and fight another day," he said bowing and he disaporated.
The car came to a stop; doors opened and slammed. Ron, Hermione, Emily, and Aziza ran up to Amber and Reamus. Draco slowed as Harry too joined them, but Amber personally brought him into their many armed embrace.
Reamus stepped back and smiled as the reunited friends rejoiced at being together once more.
Suddenly stunning spells shot over the group. Reamus had been hit but was caught by Draco and Harry.
"You are to surrender all non-humans and members of the Malfoy line by order of the Ministry of Magic." The color drained from their faces; what were they to do now?
A/N WOW! Lots happening huh? I'll update soon if I get a few reviews, and please be nice- Amber Hermione
