A/N Hi, I hope you like this chapter! I would have uploaded it last night but my computer was not cooperating, grr...

Aziza; as Remus, ran quickly and was closely fallowed by Harry and Amber. They were struggling through some thick trees when Amber's foot got caught in a root. Aziza did not know this and went on a few paces. Harry turned to come back and help her. Ember burst into sight ahead of Aziza.

Harry froze looking from one girl to the other. To make matters worse the Ministry were closing in fast.

"Go, Harry, you're almost there." Amber called to him franticly trying to free her foot. Harry set his face and started walking towards her. Aziza started to come running but Amber would have none of it.

"Ember, get Aziza and fly." In a rush of wings the phoenix had done so. Aziza disappeared. Amber looked up at Harry as he knelt and freed her leg from its trap, "Harry," she said pained, "Why? You didn't have to stay." They were both very strong willed she saw he would not give in and smiled. He looked at her seriously

"I didn't because; all through the war you never left anyone behind. I always admired the nobility and loyalty you showed to all people," his voice became strangled his eyes sparkled, "besides, I could never forgive myself if something happened to you. Especially after all the close shaves we've helped each other get through."

They looked up as they heard Ministry officials approaching. Amber struggled to her feet to meet them. Soon they were surrounded, and stood back to back, wands drawn. "Deputy Minister we've found some of them!"

"Good," Harry recognized that voice and sure enough Umbrage walked into view, "Well, who have we here?"

Harry decided he wasn't going to let HER of all people toy with him, "Why you surely haven't forgotten me yet Madam Toad. I am the-boy-who-lived after all. This young lady behind me is soon to be your superior so I suggest that you are careful not to make her too mad."

Amber smiled inwardly Harry had remembered how much she and Umbrage had detested one another. She too remembered the numerous altercations they'd had over the previous year. Harry saying her name interrupted her thoughts.

"Amber don't you remember the last time we were faced with these sort of odds?"

"Why yes Harry I believe I do," she said getting into the act.

"You know there's something wrong here?" he replied in a voice of mock contemplation

"Really, Harry? What might that be?" she asked in mock puzzlement.

"I think they think we're the bad guys."

"What irony! Why do you suppose that, Harry?"

"I don't know perhaps the very large toad over there might be able to enlighten us."

Now Umbrage had had enough of their mockery, "I've heard enough, arrest them for disrespecting the Deputy Minister of Cleansing."

"Amber," Harry asked in mock surprise, "Have you ever heard of such a charge or furthermore the position she speaks of to begin with?"

"Why; no Harry, I don't believe I have! You know I am curious about something though Harry."

"What might that be, Amber?"

"I believe they're under the impression that we're going with them against our will."

"They are much mistaken and I'm afraid we'll have to disappoint them," he said in mock sadness.

"The only reason we're going is to inquire as to the legitimacy of your claims. We want to know for ourselves exactly what this 'Deputy Minister of Cleansing' is all about." The two then calmly placed their wands in their pockets and awaited further instructions.

Shocked by this passive behavior Umbrage stuttered; "Well- what are you waiting for- take hold of them!" Reluctantly the other wizards obeyed the order. When they indeed were met with no resistance they looked at one another in perplexity.

Soon they were in a prison cell sitting on opposite beds. They were facing one another with their backs against the walls. They were both still in high spirits because they would with hope be speaking with the Minister in a few moments.

"How's your ankle?" Harry asked concerned.

She shrugged, "It's not throbbing now that I'm off my feet. How are you holding up? I know you aren't the one who's content with sitting and waiting."

"I've learned from you and Albus that patience is indeed a virtue and is usually rewarded in time." she smiled understandingly. Then they looked up as they heard the door open.

"I can't believe you arrested them!" Fudge was saying as he and Umbrage came down the stairs to the level the prison cells were on, "I did not give you permission to harass Important, INFLUENTIAL people such as these. When the wider magical world hears of their arrest; do you realize how popular these two have become?"

"I had thought," Umbrage simpered, "that with your argument with them both earlier this morning that Hursman would not be offered the position and that-"

"Regardless of what you thought, and our disagreements; she is still the best person for the job," Fudge cut her off.

"What are you going to do now? Will you simply release them?"

"I'm going to talk to them. If they will not support our plan- either way I can't hold them here- How would that look? It's obvious why I can't hold Potter, but do you know who Hursman's related to?"

"I'm aware of that but- Minister look- come in here we need to talk where we can't be overheard." He followed her into the guard's office and shut the door. Harry and Amber looked at one another with worried expressions.
