Something akward triggered in colonel Mustang's head as he and Hawkeye sat in the silent office. There had been no smiles from him all day, just smirks and grins. "Lieutenant..." Roy said. Hawkeye stood. "Yes, sir?"
"There's a question I've been wanting to ask you for a while..."
"What is it, sir?"
"Lieutenant...what's your sign?"
WHACK! Riza eyebrow twitched. "Why you..." Roy got up from the ground, dent in his head. "No, I'm sereous!" DOUBLE WHACK! "Not like th--" WHACK! WHACK! WHACK! "Lieutenant! Sit down, or you're fired!" Riza sat. Roy cleared his throat. "Now, if you'd let me explain...I meant to say, when is your birthday! You see...?" Hawkeye raised an eyebrow. "And...why do you want to know?" she asked. "Just so I can, uhh, buy you a gift ahead of time, y'know?" Riza sighed. "Whatever, it's February seventh."
"Oh, okay. Thanks."
Riza shut her eyes calmly as if nothing had happened. Roy smirked to himself. So she's an Aquarius...he thought. "I'm an Aquarius too, lieutenant." Riza looked up from her paperwork. "Sir?"
"I was born January 23, that makes me an Aquarius too, does it not?"
Hawkeye counted inside her head. Roy started at his paperwork again. Riza finished calculating in her head, and looked over to Roy's desk. She laughed in her head. Who would have thought, that the great Flame Alchemist would be a water bearer. she said in her head. Roy looked up at her. "Is something the matter, Hawkeye?" he asked. Riza blinked, breaking her train of thought. She closed her eyes once more and looked down at her paperwork. "What a softie..." she said quietly. Roy Mustang smiled...
