This is my first songfic..so don't laugh and flame me!

The Song is called,"Collide" by Howie Day.

DISCLAIMER:Che!Everyone knows Kenshin doesn't belong to me,other wise i woulda animated Jinchuu and made Kenshin live!(sorry spoilers?)And Howie Day and the song COLLIDE isn't mines!

Kenshin opens his eyes,when the first ray of sunlight hits his eyes.

He thinks of Kaoru...

I worry i won't see your face

It was a month after Jinchuu...

He had become extra protective of Kaoru,because he was afraid of losing her and not see her innocent beauty and her smile...the smile that keeps him alive..

Even the best fall down sometimes
Even the wrong words seem to rhyme
Out of the doubt that fills my mind

'I've been keeping my feelings in for too long..' thought Kenshin and sat up on his futon.

Its been a long time since i've been here...

Kaoru also wakes up and sits up on her futon...

'Kenshin...' she thought.

"If only you knew..." she whispered and looked out the window...

Kenshin and Kaoru both at the same timeopen their doors and step out into the hall...

They both realize they are right beside each other...

"Ohayou Kenshin..." said Kaoru and smiled.

'That smile...' thought Kenshin.

"Ohayou Kaoru-dono.." answered Kenshin.

"Aishiteru..." that word seemed to echo in their heads...but they never were said..
