The grown-up Wendy thinks about her lost love - Peter Pan!
Peter
Neverland- the most beautiful place I've ever seen.
The deep sea, the blue sky, the green hills and the mysterious woods;
With pirates, fairies, Indians, the Lost Boys and
you- Peter Pan, the one I loved and will love forever.
Why did you not want to come with me?
You were always and are still afraid of growing up!
But to live is an awfully big adventure!
You promised to come back and I know you did,
To listen to stories about yourself and your adventures,
But you never talked to me again or gave me a sign of your presence.
The years have passed and now, I
- your Wendy-
am grown up and can never turn back to you because adults forget how to fly.
I can never go back to this deep sea, the wonderfully blue sky, the green hills, the mysterious woods and pirates, fairies, Indians, the Lost Boys and
- you, Peter Pan,
to Neverland,
which I always see in my dreams
- just like you, the owner of my kiss-
and will till the end of my days.
How do you like it?
